Community Living Arrangement

A dwelling unit that provides a living environment for unrelated residents who operate as the functional equivalent of a family, where supervision and care by supportive staff may be necessary to meet the emotional, physical and social needs of an aged person, a disabled or handicapped person, a developmentally disabled person, a non-dangerous mentally ill person, and/or a child as defined in the appropriate Federal or State statutes.
